LAKE WORTH, FLORIDA (February 11, 2013) — Valentine’s Day is Thursday and for the entire week Paradiso Ristorante will offer their four-star menu and wine options to early diners at a special price of $38 for three courses between the hours of 5pm till 6:30pm. On Valentine’s Day the hours will be extended from 3pm till 6:30pm.

Paradiso is one of the most romantic locations in South Florida with two cozy and elegant dining rooms that are modeled after the finest restaurants in Italy.  Saint Valentine – San Valentino – was Italian and in Italy il giorno della festa degli innamorati is a day dedicated entirely to romantic love.  This year has also been officially designated by the Italian embassy as, “The Year of Italian Culture in the US.”  Paradiso will join in celebration with organizations around the nation to celebrate the unique character of Italian cuisine and the contribution it has made to this country.

There are no half-plate, or smaller-plate options on this prix-fixe menu.  Diners will enjoy appetizers, entrees and desserts from Paradiso’s regular dinner menu, with a few meat dish exclusions, including Filet Mignon and Veal Tenderloin.  But even these come with a prix-fixe option of $46 to include appetizer and dessert.  Guests that wish to enjoy wine with their meal can opt for Paradiso’s $58 prix-fixe menu that includes four courses and wine selections.  Reservations are essential this week and can be made at 561-547-2500.

Angelo Romano, the owner and chef at Paradiso, is from Sorrento in Italy’s Campania region.  Campania is known for regional specialties like Buffalo milk mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes, and for unique pastas like ditalini and mostaccioli and sweets like sfogliatelle.  Chef Angelo has worked in the restaurant industry since he was 16 and ran successful restaurants on the Island of Capri and in New York prior to opening Paradiso Ristorante 16 years ago.

Chef Angelo remarked, “Our guests know and enjoy the unique character of Italian food and wine and see it, like I do, as an art form.  I feel privileged to have the honor of serving them and look forward to seeing them as we celebrate the week of love.”

Paradiso is one of a small handful of restaurants in Palm Beach that prepare and serve Italian cuisine in the most authentic manner in an equally authentic, romantic and elegant ristorante setting.
