Jenifer is a capable and creative marketing communications professional with 20+ years of experience in corporate and nonprofit marketing. Prior to launching JMV Media Group, Inc.in 2014, Jenifer worked in executive level marketing positions, both in-house and as a consultant, as the point person for agency relationships for Fortune 500 companies including Mastercard International, The Bank of New York (Wall Street branch) and Towers Perrin. These roles involved negotiating contracts with vendors and managing vendor relationships for marketing, web marketing, public relations, special events, advertising and videography. In one position, she negotiated and finalized the marketing agency contracts for Reed Exhibitions, one of the world’s largest tradeshow producers. In another, for two consecutive tournaments, she managed the relationships between the Maria Fareri Childten’s Hospital and the PGA TOUR. In her work with nonprofits, she has negotiated the contracts for, and managed the relationships with, Blackbaud (Kintera) and Convio, the world’s leading SAAS products for nonprofits. This experience has given her the ability to understand the “client” side of the agency relationship, anticipate clients’ needs and proactively provide solutions.
In addition to her corporate marketing work, Jenifer has always been actively involved in an avocation that springs from her love for and education in art and her pride in her Italian heritage. Jenifer has a BA in Art History from SUNY Purchase and a certification in Roman Architecture from Yale University. Prior to graduation, she had completed internships at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Christie’s, Neuberger Museum and with Art in America. Rachel brings over 10 years of experience in Italian language studies and art history to her position as account executive with JMV Media Group. She graduated with a 4.0 from her undergraduate program at Marist College’s branch campus in Florence, Italy and from her Masters of Arts program at Arizona State University.
Rachel has worked in marketing and public relations since 2007 and enjoys every aspect of helping clients succeed. In particular, she is excited to help art and culture clients because of her unique background. For the past year, Rachel has creatively and proactively helped manage social media and website content for JMV Media Group clients.
She speaks fluent Italian and lives in Florence with her husband and bilingual dog, Stella.
